I'm not trying to be a sony fanboy, but wow the 360 has a weak line up in 2008! Halo Wars? Too Human? These are the 360's big guns? Damn that is weak! Of course, 2007 belonged to the 360, the PS3 had nothing. But it will be a long, cold, harsh, brutal year for 360 fans.
You can't trust these numbers at all, they're almost worthless. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if the 360 DID outsell the PS3 in NA again, because the PS3 hasn't released it's heavy hitters yet. Expect the PS3 to outsell the 360 in NA after MGS4, Gran T, LBP, etc. get released. 2008 is the year of the PS3, but 2008 hasn't really started yet.
What are some of you people smoking? The xbox 360 will never, EVER have a sku with a built-in blu-ray drive. That is unthinkable. It could possibly have a blu-ray add on, but seriously doubt that that will even happen. The xbox "720" will almost certainly have a blu-ray drive, because dvds are simply too small for video games and that problem will only get worse in the future. But a built in blu-ray drive on a 360? Never.
The question I always have when I see someone writing about the possibility of Crysis on the PS3 looking as good as Crysis on the PC set to the highest settings is: how could a machine that costs $400 run crysis, when the only PCs that can run crysis on max settings will run you well over a grand? And why would anyone buy a $2000 gaming rig, when they could get a $400 console that outperforms it? I know nothing about computers, but am I wrong?

Microsoft paid for that award, but even if they didn't, you're saying that Bungie created a game that looks last-gen to the average gamer and can only be appreciated by people who are in the industry and do that stuff for a living? Good job Bungie, a few thousand professional video game makers think your game has good visual effects, and everybody else in the world thinks it looks average. I don't know what COD4 you're playing, but I can join a game almost instantly every time. Also, $50 is not "a couple of dollars", $50 is nearly the cost of a game. You claim that you don't have a lot of money to spend on consoles and games and yet you can throw away $50 on nothing?

Everyone knows microsoft is getting money from those PC games you mentioned. That isn't the point. The point is that there is no reason to buy an xbox 360, because all of the good 360 games eventually come to the PC. So buying a 360 is pointless. I don't know what "racial phobic" even means, but I don't think RE5 is racist, I'm just saying that a lot of other people will think it is, and so there will be a backlash against this game.
